Return Policy

Deluxe CCTV Inc. stands behind our products with a 30-day money-back guarantee, US tech support, and a lifetime warranty. If for any reason you are not completely satisfied with your purchase, within 30 days of your purchase date simply call us to get an RMA#, send the un-opened product back and Deluxe CCTV Inc. will issue a full refund (excluding the items listed below and original shipping charges) for all un-opened, un-installed products.

There will be a 25% – 50% restocking fee applied for all used/installed products at our discretion. No refunds are given after 30 days from the purchase date, only exchanges for the same product if the product has a factory defect which is covered under our lifetime warranty, or a store credit will be issued at our discretion. (Sorry, there are no exceptions due to the nature of our products).

*We cannot accept the return of certain items for a refund, including:

  • Special Order Products
  • Fees for Service Performed or Shipping
  • Single Use Products Such As Semen Detection Products, Hearing Devices, and ECT.
  • Activated GPS Tracking Devices
  • Software or Activated Devices
  • Discontinued Items
  • Counter Surveillance Items (Bug Detectors)
  • Hidden Cameras
  • Survival Backpacks And or Kits Containing Food or Medical Related Items

All Sales on the above-listed items are final.

Returns

All returns must be authorized by Deluxe CCTV before products are returned. All products must be returned in the original packaging with all complete contents, if this is not done, you will be charged for the missing items. Deluxe CCTV will replace, refund, or credit your account for returned products at Deluxe CCTV’s discretion. Please allow 5-10 business days for our techs to determine the problem that was originally described to us upon the request of the RMA#.

Any return must be authorized by a representative of Deluxe CCTV, at which time, the consumer must obtain an RMA number and under no circumstances will returns be accepted otherwise. Any item sent back without an RMA# will be refused and sent back to you. To obtain an RMA#, simply call customer service support at Eight Eight Eight, 742-Four Two Three Six to process the return.

All issues including unsatisfactory items, defective products, missing items, damaged items, or stolen packages must be reported within three (3) days of receiving the order. If an issue is not reported within this time frame, your return request may be denied.

To ensure that you’re returned merchandise gets properly and quickly processed. Please make sure that your RMA # is clearly marked on your package. Preferably on the shipping label.

  • It is the customer’s responsibility to ensure that the returned items safely reach Deluxe CCTV. Deluxe CCTV is not liable for any returned items that get lost, damaged, or stolen in shipping! It is advised that you purchase shipping insurance from your shipping service.
  • Any defective item must be returned to Deluxe CCTV before a replacement will be issued! We will not provide you with an advanced replacement. If you need a product quickly, we can send an advanced replacement out at your expense and when the defective item gets returned to us, we will credit you for that product provided that the item is found to be defective.
  • The customer is responsible for shipping charges back to us.

Warranty

Deluxe CCTV offers a 90-day warranty on all defective products unless otherwise stated.

We guarantee all Deluxe CCTV products to be free of defects in workmanship and materials for 90 days after the sale or installation unless otherwise stated in the item description. We will replace or repair the item at our option, providing there is no evidence of customer misuse or alteration at our cost for the first 90 days. Any alteration, or opening of the product voids all warranty and is nonrefundable, and nonreturnable. If there is a problem with your item when you receive it, please do not try to repair the item yourself, please call us and we will forward you to tech support. If the item cannot be fixed after speaking with our tech support technicians, we will create an RMA# for you to send the product back on so we can repair or replace the item at our discretion.

Shipping

Most orders will ship out the same day that the payment is received. Hidden cameras are custom made products, in which some cases require 24 hours to be built. Your product will be shipped using UPS, Fed-Ex, or USPS Ground. Next day, Saturday delivery, three day, and second day services are available for an additional cost.

Free shipping will be given to US residents only. This excludes Guam, Hawaii, Alaska, and the Virgin Islands. Ground and express shipping methods are available for international shipping at actual cost. Free shipping and US express rates do not apply to international shipping charges. Free shipping does not apply to any bulk items such as items over 35lbs. For example (spools of cable, security racks, monitor mounts, TV’s, ECT.) Although we offer free shipping to US residents, if an item is returned, the original shipping charges that we pay to ship your item will not be refunded. Shipping is a service fee and this is a hard cost that we cannot be refunded back for.

Although our main headquarters are located in California, we have several other warehouses located in the US that we stock and ship our products from. Please do not assume we will ship your product out of our California warehouse. For example, if you are located in California and want your product shipped from our California warehouse, please call us to check stock availability prior to placing your order. In most cases, we will ship your item out of the closest warehouse near your location. All address correction changes will be subject to an eighteen dollar charge. For example, if you specify a specific address for us to ship a package to and during the time of the shipment you make an address correction, you will be charged an eighteen dollar address correction fee.

All overnight orders must be submitted by 3:00pm Eastern Standard Time in order to ship the same day. Deluxe CCTV Inc. reserves the right to take up to 24 hours after the order has been placed to ship the package. Since we are not a mail carrier, If you place an overnight, 2nd day, or 3 day order, Deluxe CCTV Inc. does not guarantee the package to arrive the next day due to certain circumstances beyond our control such as severe weather or mechanical errors. Once the package leaves our warehouse, it is out of our control and is up to the carrier to deliver the package within their stated time frame. Shipping charges are non refundable and Deluxe CCTV Inc. is not responsible and will not issue refunds for lost, stolen, delayed, broken packages, DOA (Dead On Arrival) products, or malfunctioning items until a claim is filed through the carrier and is fully paid to us.

If your package is lost, stolen, or damaged, Deluxe CCTV Inc. will file a claim with the carrier to start the process of receiving his or her money back for the shipping charges and or item. Deluxe CCTV Inc. will not refund any amount of shipping charges until the carrier pays out the claim that we had filed. Claims can take up to 60 days to complete and Deluxe CCTV Inc. has no control over this. The customer must keep and present all original packaging to the carrier inspector.

Legal Status of Products

It is the responsibility of the buyer to ascertain and comply with all applicable Local, State, and Federal laws in regard to the possession and use of any items purchased from Deluxe CCTV Inc. Please consult an attorney or your local law enforcement dept. regarding such laws before placing an order including audio and or video recording items. Deluxe-CCTV is not responsible if you do not comply with your local laws..

Pricing and Availability Policy

Our prices change often due to supply, demand, specials, and other uncontrollable factors. Our Company does not offer price protection. If you place an order and the price is lowered on our website at a later date, we are not obligated to refund the difference.

Please understand that the receipt of an e-mail order confirmation does not constitute the acceptance of an order, it confirms that our system has received your order. Verification of information may be required prior to the acceptance of any order.

We reserve the right to correct any rare pricing errors or other errors on our website, limit the order quantity for any item, and refuse service to any customer. Our system does its best to give you updated information about when a product is in stock, however, due to our items being sold on other sites, we can not guarantee that the item is in stock even though it states that an item is in stock on the website. If you would like an accurate stock availability, please call us before placing your order.

Cancellations

We make our best effort to ship your order as soon as possible. If you need to cancel an order, you must contact us by phone or e-mail within 2 hours of placing the order. If your order has already been packed and shipped, it cannot be canceled. Cancellations cost us time and processing expenses, therefore we have a 20.00 cancellation fee per item ordered to cover the time and fees we incurred. If your product has shipped and you refuse delivery, you will be held responsible for the cost of shipping in both directions in addition to the cancellation fee.

In some cases, if you enter a ship to address that is different from your billing address, we may be required to ship to your billing address if the dollar amount is over $100.00, or require you to fill out a credit card authorization form to verify your identity and that you are the cardholder. This is to help protect our customers and their accounts from possible fraudulent activity. If you refuse to have the product shipped to your billing address, refuse to fill out the credit card authorization form, or cancel the order, you may be subject to our cancellation fee or a 25% restocking fee if the product is a hidden camera.

Unjustified Credit Card Chargebacks

A chargeback is when a customer disputes a charge made on his card. If the cardholder did not authorize the purchase, we will work with you to ensure the situation is resolved to your satisfaction. If you initiate a dispute prior to requesting an RMA number, that request will not be considered until the dispute is canceled/ reversed.

Please read and acknowledge our cancellation, return, replacement, order acceptance, and payment policies prior to placing an order. If, after reviewing our policies, you place your order, you are consenting to abide by our policies. We make every attempt to be fair and reasonable in our interactions.

In accordance with this, we will charge a penalty fee for every unjustified credit card chargeback against our company. We will also report all unjustified chargebacks to ChargeBackProtection.org, therefore banning you from placing orders with any business that uses ChargeBackProtection.org.

Examples of unjustified chargebacks are: a customer issues an unjustified complaint, a customer starts an unwarranted dispute with his credit card company, a customer refuses to pay, a customer ships the product without going through the RMA process and starts a dispute, a customer disregards our return policy, etc.

Audio Option

Federal Law indicates that covert audio listening devices can only be used by government agencies. If you are not affiliated with such agencies, the only lawful way of operating audio listening devices is to use them with the supervision of an agency or use them in a non-surreptitious way. For example, you can listen in to your babysitter using a nanny camera with an audio upgrade – but you have to let the person know that he or she would be subjected to an audio listening device in your home or business.

By selecting an audio option on any given product on our website, you are agreeing to one of the following exceptions:

1. I will let all persons know that he or she will be subjected to audio recording at my home or office, ECT.

2. I am not located within the United States and it is legal for me to use audio/video products in my country/state.

3. I have authorization to use an audio recording device from local law enforcement or other government agencies.

4. We are a government agency with full authorization to use an audio recording device

By purchasing an audio / and or video device, I hereby confirm that I the purchaser am purchasing for one of the above given reasons. I fully understand the federal regulation on using audio and or video listening devices. By purchasing an audio and or video device from Deluxe CCTV Inc., I (the consumer) am solely responsible for any unlawful misuse of the device, not the manufacturer, builder, or seller.

It is the buyer’s responsibility, not the seller, to ascertain and obey all applicable local, state, and federal laws regarding the possession and use of any item offered by Deluxe CCTV Inc. If you are unsure, please contact your local or state authorities. By placing an order, the buyer agrees that all products purchased will be used lawfully.

Miscellaneous

Prices, descriptions, pictures, and specifications are subject to change without notice. Due to our hidden cameras being custom made items, product styles may differ from pictures on the website and are subject to change at any time. California State orders must add an applicable sales tax of 7.25%. If tax exempt, please include a resale certificate before the time of purchase. The buyer is liable and responsible for any loss, damage, or expenses of any kind, arising from the use or misuse of these products.  Deluxe CCTV Inc. is not responsible for any international taxes or duties that may occur when shipping a package internationally. It is the buyer’s responsibility to gather the proper import and export fee information before making a purchase. Please check with your local customs/import agencies to get the proper tax rates before making a purchase.

PO Orders

Companies placing PO orders will have 30 days or whatever terms they were granted from the date of invoice to make the payment that is due. Deluxe CCTV will charge a 3% late fee to the total amount of the invoice for every month the payment is late. Deluxe CCTV will continue to do this until the remaining balance is paid. The late fee will be applied to the invoice on the first day that the payment is late. No exceptions! For example, if the company is granted net 30, the late day will be considered on the 31st day.

Extended Warranties

Deluxe CCTV offers an extended warranty plan at the time of purchase. Extended warranty plans must be purchased before the product leaves our warehouse.

Extended warranties available are:
2 year extended warranty
3 year extended warranty

If your product fails within the warranty period, we will replace or repair the unit at our discretion. If the product that you originally ordered is no longer available, we will replace the unit with an upgraded unit, or refund the purchase price minus the original shipping fees.

Warranty coverage date starts from the date of product purchase.

All of our products come with a full 90 day manufacturer warranty unless otherwise specified. (Warranty example) A one year warranty would extend the product warranty for an additional year making it a one year 90 day warranty since the 90 day manufacturer warranty is already included.

Extended warranties do not cover:

  • Misuse of the product
  • Normal wear and tear
  • Batteries of any kind
  • One time use products
  • Software
  • Earphones
  • SD Cards

Extended warranties are not transferable
